Cryotherapy
“I am profoundly grateful to the folks at NeoGenesis. I had two pre-cancer spots treated by freezing very near to my left eye and very visible aesthetically. I was horrified that I might have ugly scars so prominent on my face. A dear friend introduced me to NeoGenesis Recovery and I ordered it immediately as I had seen the amazing recovery she had from the product. I used NeoGenesis Recovery twice a day as recommended and within a week the scars were nearly gone, and after 11 days they were invisible. I was able to keep the spots moist at night using manuka honey bandages which I believe augmented the healing of the already magical NeoGenesis. I have quite a bit left in the little bottle and I’m going to use it ALL for anti-aging! I highly recommend this product.” – JC

CRYOTHERAPY
Skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, with over 5 million cases diagnosed each year in the United States alone. If you have been diagnosed with pre-cancerous skin lesions, your doctor may recommend Cryotherapy as a treatment option. Cryotherapy involves using extreme cold temperatures to destroy abnormal cells and promote healthy tissue growth.
A month or more before surgery is the best time to begin using products that assist the skin in getting to a healthy, optimal state.
After undergoing Cryotherapy for pre-cancer surgery, it is important to take proper care of your skin to promote healing and reduce the risk of complications.
After Cryotherapy, your skin will likely be red, swollen and blistered. The treated area may also feel tender and sensitive. It is important to keep the area clean to prevent infection. Gently wash the area with our mild Cleanser twice a day and pat dry with a clean towel.
NeoGenesis Recovery serum used twice daily after cleansing, contains patented S²RM® molecules that infuse the needed nutrients into the skin to achieve optimal levels of health.
Cryotherapy can cause your skin to become dry and flaky as it heals. To keep your skin hydrated, apply a gentle moisturizer after washing the treated area. Look for products that are fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic (non-clogging) to avoid further irritation.
It is normal for the treated skin to start peeling as it heals. However, it is important not to pick or scratch at the skin as this can increase the risk of infection and delay healing. If you experience itching, try using a cool compress or applying a soothing lotion to the area.
After Cryotherapy, your treated skin will be more sensitive to sunlight. Be sure to wear protective clothing, use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher, and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
